Beware of storms, say forecasters
PHNOM PENH – More rain is expected throughout the country from April 20 to 26 along with thunder, lightning and gusting winds, forecasters say.
The Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology said that during the third week of April, the Kingdom will be affected by high and weak pressure levels.
These will bring light to moderate rain, mixed with thunder, lightning and gusts to provinces in the central lowlands. Some areas may get heavy rain.
Areas adjacent to the Dangrek Mountain range and the northeastern plateau may receive light to moderate rain with a mixture of thunder and lightning and gusts.
Coastal areas may receive light to moderate rain, thundershowers and gusts. Koh Kong province may get the most rain.
The ministry has urged people to be vigilant about thunder, lightning, gusts and other natural phenomena that may happen.
