Hun Sen to attend the Universal Peace Federation World Summit

PHNOM PENH--Prime Minister Hun Sen will lead a delegation to the Republic of Korea (ROK) for the Universal Peace Federation (UPF) World Summit 2020, according to a press release issued Friday by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.


The UPF Summit on Peace, Security and Human Development will be held Feb. 3 through 5, the press release said. During the event held in Seoul, Hun Sen is expected to address the assembly along with the other foreign dignitaries.  


The prime minister will also meet with ROK President Moon Jae-in to discuss bilateral cooperation as well as regional and international issues of common interests. He will also attend a luncheon hosted by ROK Prime Minister Chung Sye-kyun.


During his visit, Hun Sen will meet with members of the Cambodian community including students and workers who live in the ROK, the press release said.
