Hunt for Survivors After Boat Capsize

PHNOM PENH– Eighteen people have been rescued and 23 are missing after a boat carrying 41 Chinese capsized off Sihanoukville province.



The last known location was near Koh Tang island.



The capsize took place at 10.30am on Sept. 22.



Chengui Sheng, a Chinese representative for the victims, said the 18 were taken to Koh Rong island after the Maritime Police Department sent rescuers.



Sihanoukville provincial administration encourage rescue parties or fishermen to join the search with a bounty of $500 per victim found.
