Indian naval ships make port call in Cambodia

Two Indian naval ships have made a port call at Sihanoukville on a four-day visit aimed at strengthening friendship and cooperation between Cambodia and India. 


Ros Veasna, deputy commander of Ream Naval Base, said the Indian naval ships docked at the Cambodian base on Thursday. 


A statement from the Indian Embassy said the ship visits forms part of the Indian Navy’s ongoing goodwill visits to South East Asia region. 


According to the statement, arrangments have been made for the Indian naval officers and crew to interact with their Cambodian counterparts and tour Sihanoukville city before departing on 8 September.
