King Norodom Sihamoni and Queen Mother Norodom Monineath land in Phnom Penh International Airport on May 11 following a medical trip to China.
PHNOM PENH--King Norodom Sihamoni and Queen Mother Norodom Monineath returned to Cambodia on Monday afternoon after a month-long medical trip to China.
Prime Minister Hun Sen greeted the King and Queen Mother at Phnom Penh International Airport on the afternoon of May 11.
During their trip to China, the King and Queen Mother also met with Chinese Foreign Affairs Minister Wang Yi.
The King sincerely thanked China for supporting Cambodia in fighting the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic and expressed Cambodia's willingness to enhance the exchange of epidemic prevention and control experiences with China, according to Xinhua.
