Mr. Sok Voeun Attends the 17th Annual General Assembly of Strengthening Responsible Inclusive Finance in Cambodia

Phnom Penh -- On the morning of 24th February 2023, at Phnom Penh Hotel, Mr. Sok Voeun, Chief Executive Officer of LOLC (Cambodia) Plc. and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Cambodia Microfinance Association (CMA), has honor to give opening speech and presentation on key progress and next steps of Self-Regulation Committee – Lending Guidelines (LG) and Code of Conduct (CoC) in the 17th Annual General Assembly and 3rd Annual Forum on Strengthening Responsible Inclusive Finance in Cambodia.
This annual general assembly is organized every year by the Cambodia Microfinance Association, particularly the 17th annual general assembly held today is organized to provide a forum for discussion, exchange of ideas, approval of strategic plans and mechanisms for the association as well as microfinance sector as a whole.
Meanwhile, the Cambodia Microfinance Association also organized an MOU signing on partnership strategy between Cambodia Microfinance Association, Water.Org and Cambodia Water Association in order to strengthen the implementation of WaterCredit program in the microfinance sector to promote the use of clean water and sanitation to Cambodia people, especially people at rural area.
The 17th Annual General Assembly held this morning was participated by all members of the CMA Board of Directors, other membered microfinance institutions and development partners, with totally around 130 participants.
