Police search for missing British woman in Sihanoukville

21-year-old vanished on Thursday
PHNOM PENH — Sihanoukville police are searching for a 21-year-old British woman who vanished after a beach party on the island of Koh Rong Sanloem, a spokesman for the Provincial Hall said Monday.
Spokesman Kheang Phearum said authorities had been looking for Amelia Bambridge since she was reported missing in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Police have reportedly found her bag and some items on a rock near a beach.
Sihanoukville Governor Kuoch Chamroeun led the search on the island on Sunday, ordering mountain, jungle and diving locations to be covered along with guest houses.
British media reported Monday that Bambridge’s family members had arrived in Cambodia.
