Nhem Sary, Deputy Governor of Stung Treng Province, commended the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training, the Ministry of Tourism, and the Swiss Agency for their significant contribution to the human resources development in the Northeast region by providing technical skills and good jobs with a decent income.

“I called on all stakeholders and development partners to support and provide vocational training in various fields to contribute more to the development of human resources in the Northeast region,” he urged.

Chuob Ratana, Director of the Department of Tourism Planning and Development at the Ministry of Tourism, said SDP has played an important role in the tourism sector in Cambodia.

He continued such support is crucial and in line with the Ministry’s five-year strategic tourism plan to respond to the impact of Covid-19 and revitalize the tourism sector.

SDP is a project under the framework of SDC. The second phase of the SDP 2020-2024 has been implemented by the Swisscontact and INBAS in collaboration with the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training and the Ministry of Tourism.
