Sihanoukville attracts more locals but fewer foreigners over Lunar New Year

PHNOM PENH - The Sihanoukville administration said Monday that local tourist arrivals rose over the Lunar New Year while foreign arrivals declined.
"Local tourist arrivals were 74,495, up 67.17 percent from 2019," it said. "International tourists were 13,270, down 48.80 percent.”
The administration said tourist arrivals by air came on 41 flights, down from 63 fights last year. Tourists visiting islands amounted to 7,741, up from 7,486.
