SIEM REAP - As the backbone of the economy worldwide, small and medium enterprises (SMEs) play a pivotal role in society. Although numerous in number, SMEs still contain a variety of challenges that not many people can overcome over a prolonged period of time.
Melinda Emerson, an American author and expert on small businesses, during her first official trip to Cambodia, shared with Cambodianess key points on what she is doing in the country, what factors contribute to successful SMEs, why SMEs fail and what should young entrepreneurs do in order to stay competitive in the game.
