Cambodians Chase Glory at Pentaque World Championship

PHNOM PENH – Cambodian stars Ouk Sreymom, Thong Choeun, Sin Vong and Kim Ratana are to compete in the Pentaque World Championship in Benin from September 9 to 12.

All have been trained by the Federation of Boules and Pentaque of Cambodia and have won many medals in international competitions.

Ouk Srey Mom won gold at the World Championship in Spain, the World Games in Birmingham and the 29th SEA Games.

Thong Chhoeun won a silver medal at the 28th SEA Games, a gold medal and a silver medal at the 4th Asian Boules Sport Confederation Petanque Championship, and a silver medal at the 32nd SEA Games in Cambodia.

Sin Vong won a gold medal in the 31st SEA Games and silver medal in the 32nd SEA Games. Kem Ratana was chosen to participate in this competition after winning the national team competition on January 14.
