The Ministry of Justice to Hold Its First General Assembly Meeting

The Ministry of Justice will hold its first general assembly meeting from March 27 to 29 during which an overview of the work done in 2023 will be presented and the ministry’s priorities for the coming year will be discussed.

PHNOM PENH — The Ministry of Justice will hold its first general assembly meeting from March 27 to 29 during which an overview of the work done in 2023 will be presented and the ministry’s priorities for the coming year will be discussed.  

In a press release issued on March 22, the Ministry of Justice said that this first general assembly will be an opportunity for the ministry officials to review and evaluate the work done in this sector in 2023.



The officials at the meeting will also assess the challenges currently presented and set directions and priorities to make law enforcement as well as the justice system more effective, the press release read.



Justice Minister Koeut Rith, Supreme Court President Chiv Keng, and Prosecutor General of the Supreme Court Chea Leang will attend the meeting along with around 700 participants, according to the press release.



The general assembly will take place at the Garden City Hotel, which is located on Win-Win Boulevard in Phnom Penh.



Following the general assembly, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Justice will hold a press conference at the end of the day on March 29 to outline the decisions taken during the meeting.
