Cambodia Beats the Philippines in Khmer chess

PHNOM PENH – Cambodia beat the Philippines in the third round of Ouk Chaktrong (Khmer chess) in the 60-minute triples discipline at the SEA Games on May 2.



Sok Limheng, Chhea Bor and Chea Sideth, for Cambodia, beat the Philippines players by 1 win and 2 draws, earning one more point for the Cambodian team.



The Cambodian team earned two points from the first and second rounds after beating Myanmar and Vietnam on May 1.



There are six rounds on the way to the medals. The Cambodian team will play Malaysia in the upcoming match.



The men’s 60-minute triples matches are joined by players from Cambodia, Laos, Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Myanmar, and Vietnam.
