Hun Sen Says Wife in Hospital for Head Injury

PHNOM PENH – Bun Rany, the wife of former Prime Minister Hun Sen, is being treated in hospital for a head injury after collapsing at home.
Hun Sen confirmed on Feb. 2 that she was admitted after the news spread on social media for two days.
“It is true and my family has no secrets and no need to publicize it,” he said.
“Four days ago, my wife fell in the room causing a head injury which needed to be examined and treated at Calmette Hospital.”
After being examined, her health was better but she remained in hospital for a third scan.
He denied that his wife had been sent for treatment abroad. The former PM said that Queen Mother, who regarded Bun Rany as goddaughter, visited his wife at the hospital.
