Spiritual Leader Sadhguru to Visit Angkor

SIEM REAP – Famed Indian spiritual leader, yogi and philosopher Sadhguru will visit Siem Reap for the April 27 to 29 “Sadhguru Meditation Talk” event in the Angkor Archaeological Park.



After a ten-day tour in Bali, a predominantly Hindu island and tourism destination of Indonesia, Sadhguru was due to arrive on April 26 with a 130-strong delegation visiting temples in the Angkor region and conducting the talk on the evening of April 27 at Bayon temple.



The event follows displays of Chinese Shaolin and Cambodian Bokator martial artists at Bayon temple on April 24, gathering  millions of views on social media.



Sadhguru and the delegation will be welcomed to temples including Ta Prohm, Preah Khan, Bayon and Angkor Wat by Minister of Tourism Sok Soken.



Jaggi Vasudev, commonly known as Sadhguru, founded Isha Foundation, a non-profit spiritual institution in 1992 in India. It aims to promote mental and physical well-being through yoga.



Sadhguru also has an influential voice in large institutions such as the United Nations and the World Economic Forum.



The visit aims also to promote Siem Reap as an international spiritual tourism destination in the region and beyond.
